The Wiggins House is offering a College Scholarship to deserving Minority 2024 High School Graduates. The scholarship is worth $500. To qualify, you must complete this application, answer the essay questions fully, submit an essay on "What Family means to me", be a Senior in a Public High School with a 2.75 gpa or better, planning to attend a four-year accredited College/University, be an active member of a Faith Based Organization, reside in the Detroit-Metropolitan area. The deadline for this application is June 24, 2024. The winner will be notified on July 26, 2024 and a special presentation/announcement will be made on August 5, 2024. The scholarship check will be mailed directly to the institution the winner will be attending in the Fall.
NOTE: If you will not be enrolled in school during the Fall Semester when the scholarship funds will be dispensed, you automatically forfeit the scholarship award. You may fill this application out online or on paper. Paper applications should be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or thewigginshouse@gmail.com or mailed by the deadline to:
