On November 5th, Ash woke up with shortness of breath and fever. Along with the fever, she had palpitations and was unable to breathe properly. Ash went to the hospital and was given treatment for a skin disorder. But this did not stop the sickness she was experiencing, which promoted the hospital trip.

Despite feeling ill, Ash continued to push through with all her scheduled events. One of those was a trip to Maine. However, during this trip, she was still feeling ill. She was experiencing constant headaches, shortness of breath, and fevers. A lesion on her lower right ankle was growing and becoming swollen. This prompted another trip to the ER.

She drove to the Dover New Hampshire Emergency Room, and after various tests and exams, this is when she was unfortunately diagnosed with Leukemia. The hospital transferred Ash to Boston to receive better care and begin chemotherapy. She has been there since November 19th.

Ash is a strong person and believed her body will heal itself. However, she has been pushed to her limits of health and safety. She is enduring and fighting, but she needs our help! She wants to show that anyone can be where she is. A tough 35-year-old woman with cancer who is nowhere near done, not by a little. She will continue to be an example to everyone. Ash will show us that no matter what, her faith, hope, and all of our prayers will keep her strong and help her beat this and become stronger than ever.

Ash is an extraordinary person. She is kind and nurturing and hard working. She creates an environment that's joyful and filled with light and humor. She's the type of person who will see someone in need and extend herself to help out in any way she can. She's just that generous. She's easy to talk to and allows people to come as they are with no judgment. She's a mother, a sister, a daughter, a partner and an amazing friend. She is fighting to beat this cancer and the support of her community is invaluable.

Any contributions will go toward the many costs that come with this diagnosis, such as medical and caregiving bills, travel expenses for treatment, and living expenses for Ash and her son because she is unable to work.
