In memory of my best friend, Simba

In January of 2023, my beloved dog Simba has suddenly passed away from congestive heart failure. Simba has been with me for the last 13.5 years and life has not been the same without him. After his tragic death, I have decided to start a mission to run 4 marathons: Big Sur, Chicago, New York City, and Boston. I have successfully completed Big Sur, Chicago, and New York City marathon in 2023 and I have been recently accepted to run the 2024 Boston Marathon for The Kita Center. This non-profit organization has a mission and vision that I hold close to my heart. Kita Center is the home of Kita Camp which provides children a healing space to navigate their journey following the heart-rending loss from suicide. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the United States so help is needed now.
