Good day, my name is Yolanda. I’m reaching out to you lovely people for some help. My mom became ill to the point that she was in the hospital for two week unresponsive, and also had a stroke. In 2021 she was laid off, after 23years on the job. She is visually impaired, unbalanced to walk and need help. Because of that she wasn’t able to pay rent and tried to get help from the government, but nothing happened. Our apartment became very unlivable due to non fixtures from the landlord, which cause us to leave and have to stay by someone. We are currently sleeping on the floor and for me it’s crucial because I have chronic back and neck pain, but I’m grateful because we are not on the streets. My sister is currently in school. So I have to be there both for her and my mom, working is hard because I’m always thinking about her and I have to take off at time to assist her with her appointments. I really need your help because we need somewhere to call our home and be comfortable. Please please please, everything count in your give.
