My journey and the purpose of this campaign. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Back in 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when we lost our son at 34 weeks into my pregnancy. The hospital generously provided us with professional photos of our son. Those pictures became the most cherished possessions we have, preserving the memory of our precious son.
It was this experience that ignited my passion for photography and led me to aspire to start my own photography business. However, every time I saved up money towards my goal of purchasing a camera, an unexpected emergency seemed to appear – whether it was needing new tires for my car, a malfunctioning hot water tank, or other unforeseen expenses. These setbacks left me feeling like my dream is slipping through my fingers.
But, despite these challenges, I've been capturing moments with my phone camera. The joy and fulfillment I've found in taking these photos remind me that photography is my true calling. The funds raised in this campaign will be specifically used to acquire a professional camera and essential lenses, the core tools I need to turn my passion into a profession.
