Bré has petitioned our support of her self-recovery journey towards claiming her birthright of healing, wellness, and joy. She has taken the first step, through her commitment and intention, by attending a wellness facility, and now she is depending on us to help with the cost of her 30-day stay there. The cost is $40,000.

In a world that thrives and depends upon our death, dismemberment, and mental illness, let us do the radical-love thing and champion a Black trans woman choosing her wellbeing. Let us champion Sister-Comrade-Friend Bré as a model for what’s possible when we proactively organize around our critical need for care and rehabilitation. Let us resist burn out, together. It is imperative!

$40,000 is possible and we speak it, calling on the spirit of abundance, yams, and the salt eaters. This is the message we will speak and chant daily as our beloved sister is looking towards the hills for her help. If you believe, like we do, that we all deserve well being—especially in our collective yearning for justice and Black Trans Liberation—won’t you join us?
